French Charm

As one of Naço’s designers, I was fortunate enough to design the well-known Frank Bistro in the former Shanghai French Concession. This past settlement preserves a distinct character and vibe that makes it a popular destination both for locals and tourists. 

With an elegant French inspiration, we created a unique, cozy, and stylish restaurant where people go for the food as well as for the nice atmosphere: exposed light bulbs, dark wood furnishings and long red leather benches. We highlighted the three main areas enhancing their own personalities: a French epicerie at the entrance; the restaurant and bar where up-and-coming artists exhibit their art; and the terrace at the back. 

This quaint restaurant became a favorite spot for a romantic escapade and friends’ meeting point.
