As a designer at Naço Shanghai, I developed the design guidelines (including the design concept and technical drawings) for the Italian luxury brand GIADA to be implemented in over 15 stores across mainland China and Hong Kong. From ideation to the final construction, I was the liaison among all parties to facilitate communication.
Following the brand’s values (timeless designs in a mix of black, white and subtle neutrals, and a careful selection of natural fabrics), we designed a minimalistic and pure, yet luxurious store concept: cream-colored leather on walls and furniture, highlights of stone and some wood details for warmth. We also placed bold glass and stainless steel elements for a bit of attention competition.
To enhance the purity and harmony of the design, the lighting and clothing racks follow the same geometric and clean lines.
