IBIS’ Momento

While at Naço in Shanghai, I was in charge of the team assigned to the development of the Interior Design (including Technical Drawings), Signage, and Guideline Book (with color adaptations for each region) for 20 Ibis Hotels in China. The main challenge: doing it in less than two years (2008-2009).

Over that stretch of time, we developed ideas, implemented the final designs, and coordinated with on-site construction suppliers.

The overall concept to be replicated at each hotel was MOMENTO: casual, comfort, sharing, enjoying, and relaxing. For the public areas, we created a colorful and welcoming atmosphere easy to adapt to each region by varying flower arrangements and color variations. The public areas consisted of the following four major elements/sections: the Totem, Bar & Buffet, Restaurant, and Lounge.
