Sustainable Cocktail

Flor de Caña, a family owned since 1890, sustainably produced rum, distilled at the base of the San Cristóbal volcano, is the world’s first spirit to be carbon-neutral & Fair Trade certified.  

Given this impressive background, we had to make sure its first European location live up to their values and corporate identity. We went beyond designing a retail space to conceive a unique sensory journey. This urban oasis, located in the heart of the Madrid, innovatively combines luxury and sustainability.

The design blends natural and recycled materials, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. From the aging room that evokes Nicaraguan bodegas to the interactive experience of creating your own personal rum blend, every corner tells a story.

Sustainability is at the heart of the project. Recycled furniture and decorative objects, efficient lighting, and live plants create a space that breathes life and connects with nature. The ECO zone, with its hanging plants and jungle-like atmosphere, is a clear example of how sustainability can be sophisticated and elegant.

This project demonstrates how design can transform a product into an experience and how sustainability can be a key element in creating unique and memorable spaces.
