What Hides Behind

When you don’t like clutter, declutter!

And so we did… this two-bedroom apartment in Barcelona in full of hidden surprises. The architecture team (I&D Arquitectos) and designers (Fabio Molinas), in collaboration with the contractor (iJumac), approached the project from a cubic meters perspective instead of square meters, optimizing every corner and original design solutions.

The vertical and camouflaged storage solutions perfectly blend with the elegant, minimalist, bold, and inviting design. Just look at the extra tall kitchen cabinets to optimize space utilization.

Additionally, our design recovered the original Catalan vaulted ceiling in the kitchen and living room area, highlighting them with a custom-made, arch-like storage unit, that seamlessly blends with the architecture (by Catalunya Confort).

To ensure that the natural light reached the main entrance while preserving the privacy in the master room area, we installed a tailor-made corrugated-like glass door. The modern, industrial looking door offers a bold contrast with the foyer’s original brick wall.
