Itsy Bitsy Loft

We were approached by a potential investor searching for the perfect mix of a mid-term residential and short-term vacation apartment in downtown Madrid. We identified this bright, two-level, 32m2 loft, housed in a 19th-century building in one of the city’s most exciting and old neighborhoods.

Our design maximizes the use of space by limiting the partitions to the bathroom area. The ground floor opens brightly to a semi-private courtyard through large floor-to-ceiling windows in the kitchen. The loft-style bedroom is located on the upper level. 

This small but mighty space enjoys both light and privacy thanks to the well-thought living areas distribution, as well as it’s custom made furnishings that double as storage and decorative pieces. 

The final result is a beautiful, practical, and comfortable apartment, ideal for one or two people.
